Real Estate Leasing
Having undergone significant development under founding partner Pierre Rochelois, the Real Estate Lease department is now a significant hub of Practice activities, and is now a recognised and expert stakeholder in this area.
A financing technique directly backed by the real estate asset concerned, the Real Estate Lease is a tool to finance a company’s long-term real estate projects while preserving its cash flow.
For many years, the Practice has put its in-depth knowledge of real estate and tax matters at the service of important credit-lenders in the area, as well as lessees wishing to obtain advice and expertise in this often little-known area.
Advice and support is provided at all stages of the life of the lease contract, from its signature to its termination by the exercise of option, but also through all acts likely to punctuate the long life of the contract, such as assignments or amendments in order to always adapt to the requests and needs of the parties.
For more than 30 years, our team – now led by three partners, Anne Béchu, Philippe Leroy-Vivien and Bénédicte Lecarpentier, with about 20 notaries and colleagues – has thus gained recognised experience and efficiency in the area, adapted to all types of files and volumes, ranging from leasing to users or investors and involving the financing of complex buildings or portfolios.
Alongside Real Estate Leasing, our team also supports financial institutions and borrowers in arranging complex professional mortgage financing. Our team also supports logistics companies in the development of their projects, both in terms of land acquisition and construction under a Property Development Contract and in terms of Off-Plan Sale.
